This website was established while I was a Member of Parliament. When Parliament is dissolved on 12th April there will be no Members of Parliament until after the election on 6th May 2010. From the dissolution this website will be frozen.
During the Campaign, I will be using a different website, www.daritaylor4stocktonsouth.org.uk.
INFORMATION RELATING TO MY EXPENSES
The House of Commons Authorities now publish the expenses of all MPs on a regular basis. I have decided to publish mine on my website in order that anyone who wants to examine them can do so easily.
The Evening Gazette and Northern Echo have already had full access to my un-redacted forms, and have published their findings. I would like to stress that I have always operated within the spirit of the rules. I do, however, recognise that the system is in need of serious reform and welcome the formation of the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority(IPSA). This will regulate expenses from now on and make sure the system is fair and transparent.
Finally, please be aware that the blacked-out areas are to prevent sensitive information such as credit card details, telephone numbers and addresses from being made public. I have also added an additional page to my forms from 2007/2008, which corrects an inaccuracy on page 7 whereby the total claim wasn’t broken down. The total claim, however, remains the same.

I attended many meetings today, including a visit by the Minister for Schools and Learners, Vernon Coaker MP. Mr Coaker visited St Patrick’s Secondary School in Thornaby and then visited a potential site for the rebuilding of Eaglescliffe School, which would keep the school in one site and allow it to serve both communities of Ingleby Barwick and Eaglescliffe.
6th September
Today I performed a zipwire slide from the top of the Transporter Bridge, across the Tees for the charity Daisy Chain. Daisy Chain is a wonderful Charity, it supports children and their families when most have no one else to turn to and I was very pleased to be taking part in this fundraising event for them. As you may imagine, I was absolutely petrified as I completely and utterly hate heights!
The end of this terrifying (for me) zipwire jump is a cheque for a very professional and excellent charity that delivers help to many many children and their families.
I am very grateful to everyone who has donated.

I have always been a firm supporter of the Army Cadets and know that all our ACF's do incredible work in building the confidence of the young people that join by showing them how to do things like orienteering and abseiling. Cleveland, Durham and North and West Yorkshire ACF's are outstanding.
